The title of this single should be more than enough to allow one a telling glimpse of things to come. Although I am sure these three international faux-femme fatales wouldn't profess originality, concerning a sound that is essentially the aural equivalent of sifting through black and white photographs of Christmas 1964 from a shoebox in the attic. Despite this, the frantic finger clicking, cascading organ and crime of passion vocals on 'You're the loser' do provide a pleasing racket for naturally just flush of two minutes. However, the main problem here is nothing is offered that The Pipettes haven't done with more gusto and polka dots six months ago.
