Retro Spankees - My Sonic Driver

Electric guitar pop, you know the type, punky, folky and a bit doo wop. What sets The Retro Spankees apart is the vocals. They play with the sounds creating layered, interesting and sometimes just plain funny noises. I get the feeling this song was released because it will appeal to the wider audience, but listen out for their other songs. Each one is different and frankly make me smile. It's good to hear a band having some fun for a change. 3/5
