Morrissey - You Have Killed Me
The first release from the much-anticipated "Ringleader of the Tormentors", 'You Have Killed Me' is a perfect rock stomp that puts many of the so-called rock stars to shame. This could have easily fitted into 1992's Your Arsenal.
Like a fine wine, Morrissey's voice improves with age, which is shown here with swooping octaves, not something he has been previously known for . The lyrics are quite familiar territory, with Mozzer claiming he was "not injured", but the structure of this is oddly unique for one of his solo songs.
"There is no point in saying this" but the song is brilliantly innovative...just listen.
