Leaving Home Records - Singles Club EP Two

Leaving Homs records is a division of the wonderfully sweet Filthy Little Angels, bringing us split EP's of the type of melodic syrupy pop that they have become renowned for.

Three of the five songs on here belong to the first band Awful Sparks, a typical old school English indie band that fit in well amongst the Filthy Little Angels rooster. Much of this is similar to Talking Heads meets Blur. If you like your music jagged and bopping but are fed up of the mass produced button pressing angular rock that blares out of every radio station today, then give these a whirl.

Slightly less successful are Plastic Passion, the other artist on the EP, who although exist in the same pop vein as Awful Sparks, just don't make the same impact.
