Fleet - Get Down EP

"Get Down". After turning on my CD player and sceptically popping in this record, I couldn't agree more with this EP's commanding title. Fleet's 5 person line up create some interesting textures and sounds amongst them with beautiful guitar parts, original bass lines and ever varying vocals. When the ultimately cool intro to the track "Get Down" plays you know it's going to be special. This track knocks you off your feet with its huge sound and incredible vocals dripping with attitude. Though, this can't compare to what I think has to be the best track on this whole EP, the first track, "I Fell Away". It's the best opening track to any CD I've heard in ages. It's full of emotion, original sounds and a melody that just wont leave your head. It's freakin' super! 5/5
