A swirling darkness of hypnotic drums, uplifting electronics and cool vocals that descend into the depths reached by the likes of Joy Division and The Cure, touching the surface of the Jesus and Mary Chain, the two New York boys have done well…Paul and John really are a dynamic duo. Check them out! As for Seconds, Ceremony lift the tempo with a heavy cocktail of wild, off-kilter guitars. Really, these guys are a best-kept secret. The synth powers its way in fits, wails and cries, creating a suffocating disco atmosphere before the chorus swells and crescendos into a mad wilderness of noise covering the moody cool of the vocals.
