The Boyfriends - I Love You

At last it is here, The Boyfriends debut single, 'I Love You'.  It was released last Monday, and word on the street is it has already sold out, and deservedly so.  Sharp suited and gloomier than a Sunday morning they bring back that old British melancholy charm.  As the title implies, this lachrymose little number shows The Boyfriends wear their heart on their sleeve, and with those big Suede-like guitars and Morrissey-lyricism, their influences too.  That is by no means a criticism, they pull this off almost to perfect.  Good job.
