The Black Tulips - We the Lonely Ones

It is nice to see The Black Tulips making some headway; since we last wrote about them they have become an almost permanent fixture on John Kennedy's nightly Xfm show, and for good reason, with its swirling drowning guitar riffs 'We the Lonely Ones' comes off like a darkly possessed, scuzzed up, early Suede while vocalist Alexandra fuses it together with a sinister androgynous drone. This is an itunes only release so you have no excuse not to get a copy, it probably wont improve your life but for its three short minutes you can leave yourself behind and wallow in its presence.
