Blackbud – Heartbeat EP

This part of the world isn't usually renowned for its musical talent, but now, finally, we have something to be proud of. Heartbeat, the bands second EP proper, praised by radio one no less, shows the enormous amount of talent this band has.

‘Heartbeat' is as close to perfect as you could probably get, combining Joe Taylor's fragile voice and gorgeous melodies to create a masterpiece; it's the sort of song to give you tingles.

The Bs sides are a whole lot more impressive than your average B sides too; and I could probably go so far as to say they have the potential for singles, let alone B sides.

Sorry to disappoint the cynics, but I really don't have a bad word to say about this band, or the EP; you really do need this band in your life.
